Personality:

Jericho is a rather serious individual that almost always displays a calm expression. He stays cool and collected under pressure and in battle, until he is seriously enraged. In his usually calm state, all that would anger him builds up anger inside him that just keeps piling up, until someone manages to push him over the edge, in which case all the collected rage is unleashed. Not many live after experiencing Jericho's destructive fury.

Jericho is intelligent but simple-minded, and momentarily acts based on his own desire or mood rather than a thought out strategy or plan. His decisions are unpredictable, leading to his neutral alignment. He may sometimes act on the side of good; other times he acts evil. He does not think of them as purely "good" or "evil" actions, as they are not a matter of his feelings or intentions; he just does what he wants to. This both works for and against him.

Jericho always looking for a challenge, a test of his strength, but that has been increasingly hard to find, leading Jericho to be somewhat arrogant. He is not too friendly, but it's not impossible to become acquainted with Jericho. Once you do manage to gain his trust, he'll become a bit aware of you, and might even want to protect you as a friend. But his friendship is not so much an emotional bond; it's more like an exchange of communication.

Back Story:

Jericho was of the noble and proud Saiyan elite, born into the royal bloodline that would undeniably make him one of the strongest Saiyans in the universe. However, it would seem that that would not be the case, as Jericho did not make the quick and early progress that all elite Saiyans made. He was not the precocious child that he was expected to be, which would hurt the royal family's name. It quickly became apparent that the weak boy was a disgrace not only to his elite bloodline but also to the Saiyan race as a whole. He was simply not like everyone else, probably because his parents were among the most arrogant and power-hungry Saiyans in the universe. In short, Jericho was a failure of a Saiyan child.

The weak but determined boy was a bit too young, as well as naive, to see this, so his parents decided it would be best for him to be sent to earth. "If he doesn't belong here, we're sure he can find a place for himself among the dirty earthling scum" was their reasoning. The father personally sent off his surprised child in a spaceship headed for earth, where it would soon land. After recovering from the shock of being sent off by his supposedly loving and beloved parents, Jericho was able to get a grasp on the situation and start his new life, aided only by the little power he had.

Choosing to forget the past that had just been done with, the young boy grew and prospered on Earth far more than he had with his own race. All alone, with no one to help him, he took care of himself and gained knowledge and power as he grew. He lived and trained on his own; his knowledge and power came from is own hard work. He adjusted to this self-sufficient lifestyle and matured into a fine adolescent, and by then, people had started to fear his power. He was alone at first because he chose to take care of himself; now he was alone because everyone stayed away from him.

Jericho's growth and development, new lifestyle, and loneliness changed his personality and attitude from how it was as a young noble Saiyan. He was once a cheerful, determined child that was the center of attention in the famoly and beyond, whether for good or bad reasons. Now he became a calm, quiet individual, caring only for himself and not involving himself in the outside world. He saw people but never interacted with them. He had nobody to talk to or laugh with, and was always focused on what he needed to do, which lead to a very serious attitude. He could do whatever he wanted without restrictions. All of his past has lead to his present personality, although he doesn't like to reveal or even remember that.

After gaining extremely high levels of power, Jericho became the terror of Earth, although humans had only seen a fraction of his power. His occasional fights with challengers would be witnessed by some, who wold spread the terrifying news and warn everyone of Jericho's power. He tries to hide himself, as he never intended to be noticed by anyone, but it didn't work. All who saw him either foolishly tries to run away or just begged for their lives to be spared, which he agreed to, as he did not think humans were worthy of being killed by him. He wanted a challenge; he could crush a normal human like he could crush an ant. And the long-awaited challenge soon came, as a God of Destruction appeared on Earth looking to kill Jericho, as news of his name had, unbeknownst to him, spread beyond Earth. After a long, hard battle in a distant galaxy, Jericho managed to kill the God of Destruction, taking his place as a God of Destruction and now being feared more than ever, not only on Earth but throughout the universe, He then began to travel through the universe, adventuring in search of challenges and more power. He periodically returns to Earth to rest or simply enjoy some alone time.
